As you know from my forecast on Sunday, Mars opposes Uranus today (Wednesday). The Moon, representing home and family, amplifies the noise when she opposes Uranus and conjoins Mars later in the day. It’s a jungle out there, let me tell you. Since last Friday, I’ve been hearing about general craziness, and while some of it is typical last-minute running around before Christmas Day, we’ve got a difficult planetary alignment that will continue into the new year. Some of you will have more challenges than others, but we’ll all feel it one way or another, if only through those around us who are having a rough go of it.
It’s too bad that Christmas causes so much anxiety for so many people. Try to be extra patient, help out where you can, and resist being judgmental. One never knows what another might be struggling with inside, even though they may not show it on the outside. Yesterday I had a line of traffic behind me while trying to make a left turn into the supermarket, and I was stuck because a handicapped senior was hobbling across the entrance to the parking lot. After he safely crossed, oncoming traffic was so backed up I still couldn’t turn, until one driver stopped and waved for me to pass in front of him. It was a nice reminder that people can be kind, even when everyone is stressed out and in a hurry. Small gestures can and do make a difference.
Wishing you all a happy holiday,
Pat

A very merry Christmas to you, too! And thank you for all the wonderful posts you’ve given us all year.

Let me echo Gilly’s comment. I know this wasn’t the easiest year for you or anyone else but you still managed to turn out many thoughtful pieces on current events and their celestial markers. :)

Thank you, Joe and Gilly. Yes, we’re all under enormous pressure, but that’s how diamonds are made. (I just hope it doesn’t take that long!)
