In astrology, timing is everything, which is why we chose the New Moon in Aries to unveil our project. Aries is the first sign of the Zodiac, and this New Moon is teeming with energy to begin new ventures and embark on new journeys.
We’ve been working like crazy people since the Full Moon in Libra in March to get this project up and running. However, the seeds were planted during the shadow phase of the Mars retrograde last fall. The shadow phase finally was over yesterday, and Mars rules this New Moon, so it’s no coincidence that we are launching our endeavor now.
It has been a joint enterprise all the way, with both of us working on all aspects of site design and content development. We both love the results of our labors, and we are eager to share it with all of you.
As we have discovered over the past couple of years posting comments on each other’s blogs, we bring different but complementary perspectives to the table. Although we hope to engage a broader readership here, we also want to encourage everyone who visits this site to stop by Neith.net, Neith on Synastry, and The Pisces Chronicles. We’ll be doing a lot of cross-posting, and we’ll be responding to comments and questions there.
We’re thrilled about this opportunity to work with each other, and we’re sure that all who step into our new home will enjoy the dialogue among our community of friends and neighbors. Yup, astro-lessons for everyone!! :-D

Not to mention braving the stormy seas of CSS. We used a template to build this site, but you can see how much we changed it by clicking on the “Jelly” link in the footer of this page. Not bad for a couple of low-techie astrologers, eh? But, as Neith says, we’re Uranian types. We’ll try anything once!
Neith gets credit for the color scheme and very cool widget boxes. She also found our totally awesome logo image.
We’re still working out some bugs, but please tell us what you think. And come back often!

Thanks, Joe! I trust your sense of aesthetics – after all you have lots of Libra. This really was a joint project all the way from writing content to making color & design choices. However, I’m happy to return to focusing on Astrology . . . :-D

Yes, Max, you may be right . . . I’m already getting the feeling juggled objects could start dropping. Saturn is currently exactly sq my Venus and that suggest serious pruning back. heh, always better to do these things voluntarily . . . :-D

Leslee!! Welcome aboard, my Virgo friend! W-P has it’s quirks all right though I love having the organizational options like categories and pages at my fingertips. Between my Mercury in Scorpio & Pat’s in Capricorn + my Virgo MC, we are both very fond of a solid, well organized base/structure to work from. :-)

That’s because this web site/blog is on it’s own domain, so a different registration database. All the blogger sites are on the blogger machines, so all the blogs access the same DB. Nice but it leaves you at the mercy of blogger.

I transferred all the posts from my synastry blog over here to Neith’s Kitchen and organized them to make the info more accessible. My Scorpio side says concentrate the energy to make it more attractive . . .

I’d like to address Max’s comments in particular, because they hit right on a subject that’s been on my mind a lot lately.
As you can see by exploring this site, it is commercial. We created Real Astrologers to draw business, and for that we need to attract a broader audience. We will not sink so low as to offer free Sun sign horoscopes, but the other extreme, the kind of articles I write for PiChron, probably isn’t going to go over too well here.
PiChron will remain my forum for pioneering new astrological territory, while we’ll try to write for a more general readership here.
If any of you have ideas for topics you’d like to see us write about, please e-mail Neith or me, and we’ll do our best to deliver!
