Astrology Poll: Jupiter in Aquarius – Be Careful What You Wish For

Since Jupiter moved into Aquarius and has started stirring the atmosphere, there seems to be a sharp increase in the amount of information whipping around the world via the Internet and other technologies – both good and bad. Has anyone else noticed this happening?

Has anyone had experiences since Jupiter moved into Aquarius that were not what they had anticipated?

Astrology Poll: Yep, It’s That Time Again!

Traffic jams, server crashes, misunderstandings … it can only mean one thing. That’s right, Mercury is retrograde again!

In this week’s poll, we want to know whether you are experiencing anything unique to Mercury retrograde in Aquarius. Not all Mercury retrogrades are created equal, after all. To give you an example, an astrologer we all know and love dropped his Palm Pilot in the fish tank while Mercury was retrograde in Pisces.

Ruled by Uranus, Aquarius is associated with friendships, humanitarian efforts, the Internet, electronic gadgetry of all kinds, space travel, and political revolutions. Feel free to leave us your individual stories.

Next week, Mercury retrogrades back into Capricorn, so please come back for part two of this poll.

Happy Mercury retrograde!

Astrology Poll: What’s Your Favorite Winter Holiday?

The Sun enters Capricorn on Sunday, the Winter Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere.

Online Surveys & Market Research

While many cultures and religions around the world have different feast days throughout the year, the solstices are celebrated just about everywhere in one form or another. In Christian-dominated countries, most people celebrate Christmas, perhaps forgetting that it had its origins in a much older tradition that revolved around the four cardinal points of the zodiac.

We would love to know how our astrologically inclined readers celebrate the winter holidays. If you live in a foreign country and aren’t as proficient in English as you would like to be, don’t let that stop you from leaving a comment! Help enlighten us all as we celebrate the return to the light.

Love and peace to all.

Astrology Poll: How’s Your Eye on the Sky?

Monday’s spectacular alignment of Venus, Jupiter, and the Moon was as much an astronomical phenomenon as an astrological one. That made us stop to think, how much do we as astrologers know or care about astronomy?

Astrology Poll: What are your hopes and fears for Pluto in Capricorn?

Pluto moves into Capricorn today and will slowly but surely start grinding down the old to make way for the new. Are we ready for this?

Online Surveys & Market Research

Although Pluto changes signs, he’ll remain in the same area of the natal chart for most of us. For instance, Pluto moved into my second house a couple of years ago and will remain there for many years to come, so it is all about what I value and the continuing transformation of my attitudes and expectations about income, etc.

Anyone else already seeing Pluto at work in their charts?

Ask Our Readers: What Will Happen in 2012?

This week, we enter Day Six of the Mayan calendar. There are only two more “days” and one “night” left before the Mayan calendar ends in 2012. So we decided to ask our readers about your views on 2012.

Neith says:

My interest in the Mayan calendar and 2012 has only been piqued recently and I really don’t know that much about it. However I tend to believe on the whole change comes incrementally where human kind is concerned baring catastrophic events and even those tend to affect a relatively small geographic area. I’m going to take a “wait and see” position for now. Pluto moving into Capricorn later this month is what has my attention!

Please add your thoughts about this!

Astrology Poll: How do you feel about Scorpio?

This week’s poll is about the sign of the month, Scorpio.

Online Surveys & Market Research

Scorpio is a sign that attracts strong reactions and is often misunderstood. Since they tend to be reserved as a group and enjoy their reputation as the sexy, strong, silent types, the tremendous amount of good they do can be overlooked. Those in the healing professions often have a strong Scorpio signature in their charts for instance. To be sure, the Scorpio “sting” is something to be reckoned with but in many cases it has to do with Scorpio’s lack of tolerance for foolish behaviors. On the other hand, Scorpio is noted for being loyal to their friends and loved ones.

Hey, as many of you know I’m a Libra Sun person with a strong Scorpio rising so in interests of fairness (Libra) I have to stand up for my Scorpio brethren! Anyone else have thoughts and opinions about Scorpio?

Ask Our Readers: Pluto in Capricorn

Neith and I have noticed an increasing number of searches for information about Pluto in Capricorn. In this week’s reader feedback column, we’d like to know what interests you about this event.

Are you worried, and about what? Are you wondering how it will affect you personally, or are you concerned about the economy or other societal issues? Or maybe you just want our take on it?

We also have a highly significant opposition of Saturn and Uranus, which has officially started and will last for nearly a year. Yet this aspect doesn’t seem to be generating nearly the interest of Pluto in Capricorn. Any feedback about why this is?

As always, tell us a little about your chart, if you know it. Sun, Rising sign, and Moon sign are all good, along with where Pluto is transiting your chart, if you know it.

Neith says:

This particular Mercury retrograde all took place in my eleventh house and was surprisingly mild at least when it came to tech problems and miscommunications. However it did seem like I spent lots of time rehashing old issues with friends and family. In the larger picture it felt like I was hearing the same old tired messages over and over and over. We’ll see what the next few days bring as the little biter starts moving forward and opening communication channels again!

 How did yours go?
